Bookeo's layout design options for your booking page give you the ability to customize how you display your service to your customers.

Bookeo Appointments
This section details the available booking page layouts in a Bookeo Appointments account.
On your booking page, you can display:
- your services and workshops with categories on the left, and services and workshops on the right (click here to see an example),
- your services and workshops in a grid format, organized in categories (click here to see an example)
- only for workshops, you can additionally set to display an upcoming list of workshops. Click here to see an example
The above booking modes offer several customization options.

Booking mode: customers select a service or workshop, then pick an available date
With this booking mode, Bookeo will show all your services and workshops listing them under their specific category. You can select if you want to show categories on the left, and services and workshops on the right, or display your services in a grid format. Both formats come with additional display options, detailed below.
Preview Item selection page layout
Clicking Save on any change you make to the Item selection page layout updates your booking page immediately.You can preview any changes you make to your booking page Item selection page layout without saving your settings by clicking on the Test booking button. When you are happy with the look and feel of your booking page, click on the Save button.
Categories on the left, services and workshops on the right
To select this format for services
1. Go to Settings>Colors and style
2. In the Item selection section, from the Item selection page layout dropdown menu, select buttons on the left, items on the right
3. From the Image style dropdown menu, select if you want to show:

Services and workshops names and description
For best results:
- on large screens, services and workshops names should fit in 1, maximum 2, rows. Services and workshops names are set in the General tab of the service/workshop, in the Name section.
- The description shown on the booking page is set in the General tab of the service/workshop, in the Description section, in the first tab. If, for workshops, you have set up additional description tabs, an INFO button will display, and customers can click on it to read the full workshop description. The description can optionally also display on the page where customers select a date and time. Click here for more information
If you have selected this booking mode for your services, you can also select it for workshops:
1. Go to Settings>Booking Preferences
2. In the Booking mode for workshops section, from the dropdown menu, select the customer chooses the workshop first, and then an available date and time.

Grid mode
To select this format
1. Go to Settings>Colors and style
2. In the Item selection section, from the Item selection page layout dropdown menu, select grid with all items using images as background
3. From the Grid size dropdown menu, select the maximum number of columns your grid display on large screens.

4. From the Grid initial display dropdown menu, select if you want to show:
- categories expanded. All your services and workshops display on the booking page, under their specific category.
- categories collapsed. Categories display collapsed on the booking page. Customers can click on a category to see its services and workshops.
Default service
If you have set up a default service, the category of that service will show expanded, even if you select to display collapsed categories.5. Save
Services and workshops names
For best results, we recommend setting short services and workshops names that fit in 1, maximum 2, rows on large screens. Services and workshops names are set in the General tab of the service/workshop, in the Name section.If you have selected this booking mode for your services, you can also select it for workshops:
1. Go to Settings>Booking Preferences
2. In the Booking mode for workshops section, from the dropdown menu, select the customer chooses the workshop first, and then an available date and time.
3. Save
Booking mode: upcoming workshops and their availability
If you select to display services with categories on the left and services on the right, or in a grid format, you can select to show workshops as a filterable list of upcoming workshops. Click here to see a live example of this booking mode.
To select this booking mode for your workshops:
1. Go to Settings>Booking Preferences
2. In the Booking mode for workshops section, from the dropdown menu, select the customer is presented with all the upcoming workshops and their availability and picks one.
3. Tick the Empty dates checkbox if you want to show dates when workshops do not run.
4. Filters let customers sort your workshops by categories and resources. From the Filters dropdown menu, select:

initially hidden if you want to show a Filters button that customers can click to see all the filters, or
-
initially visible if you want to show filters open on the booking page.
Direct links and widgets
Even if you select initially hidden, if you click on a direct link or integrate a direct widget on your website, all Filters will automatically show open on the booking page.5. Save
Bookeo Classes and Courses
This section details the available booking page layouts in a Bookeo Classes and Courses account.
On your booking page, you can display:
- all your classes displayed with categories on the left, and classes on the right (click here to see an example),
- all your classes in a grid format, organized in categories (click here to see an example)
- an upcoming list of classes, courses, and events, with a link to personal lessons/appointments. Click here to see an example

Display of personal lessons/appointments and specific gift vouchers
You can select the display of personal lessons/appointments and specific gift vouchers in Settings>Colors and Style, in the Item selection section. You can display categories on the left and personal lessons appointments on the right, or a grid format.To select this booking mode for classes, courses and events:
1. Go to Settings>Booking Preferences
2. In the Booking mode section, from the dropdown menu, select the customer is presented all the upcoming classes and their availability, and picks one.
3. Tick the Empty dates checkbox if you want to show dates when classes do not run.

Display of open schedule tours and specific gift vouchers
You can select the display of open schedule tours and specific gift vouchers in Settings>Colors and Style, in the Item selection section. You can display categories on the left and open schedule tours on the right, or a grid format.To select this booking mode for tours and activities:
1. Go to Settings>Booking Preferences
2. In the Booking mode section, from the dropdown menu, select the customer is presented all the upcoming tours and their availability, and picks one.
3. Tick the Empty dates checkbox if you want to show dates when tours and activities do not run.
4. Filters let customers sort your tours and activities by categories and resources. From the Filters dropdown menu, select:

initially hidden if you want to show a Filters button that customers can click to see all the filters, or

initially visible if you want to show filters open on the booking page.

The "Tours" filter will show upcoming regular tours and special tours for one week at a time.

The "Special tour" filters will show up to 100 upcoming special tours because there are fewer of them throughout the year, and at irregular dates.
