You can flag a customer profile - and conveniently mark that customer and any future bookings for special attention - so that your team members know why the customer has been flagged and can be dealt with accordingly.

To flag a customer
1. In your Bookeo dashboard, go to Customers
2. Click on the customer profile
3. In the Status section, in the Alert message [1] field, you can type a short explanation as to why that customer is getting flagged
Registration settings
Account users can flag a customer profile only if you set that new customers must set a password when they make their first booking, or verify their email address or set a password only if they make a subsequent booking.Account users can not flag a customer profile if you do not require customers to set a password or verify their email addresses.

If you set an Alert message for a customer, all existing future bookings for that customer (which did not already have an alert, or which had the same alert as the customer's old one) are updated with the new Alert message.
New bookings
If flagged customers make a new booking and use a new email address to make a booking, the system will create a new customer profile and therefore will not recognize them as flagged customers.How to identify flagged customers
You can see flagged customers at a glance:
Agenda and Calendar |
A red flag icon will show in the Agenda and in your Calendar for bookings made by flagged customers. For classes/tours/workshops, you can click on them to see their bookings. You can click on the booking to read the alert message. If you click on the booking to open it, a flag icon will show in the Booking and Customer tabs of the booking with the message set in the Alert message field. |
In-store bookings |
When account users create a booking from the dashboard for a flagged customer using the autocomplete function, a flag icon will show in the Booking and Customer tabs of the booking, together with the message set in the Alert message field. |
In the Customers section of the dashboard |
A red flag icon will show for flagged customers. |
Reports |
The alert message will show in customer reports that you can generate from Marketing>Reports>Customers. |
Unflagging a customer
To unflag a customer:
1. In your Bookeo dashboard, go to Customers
2. Click on the customer profile
3. In the Status section, in the Alert message field, delete the input text
4. Save
