When you cancel a booking or a class/tour from your calendar, you can allow customers to reschedule their bookings after you have canceled them. This is particularly useful if you need to cancel an activity due to adverse weather, or any other unforeseen circumstances, as it encourages customers to reschedule their canceled bookings.
When the rescheduling option is enabled, a Reschedule [1] button is included in the notification email sent to customers, inviting them to reschedule their booking. Additionally, you can add a custom message[2], perhaps to clarify the reason for the cancellation, and invite customers to reschedule.

Reschedule terms
You can define the period during which customers are allowed to reschedule their canceled bookings:
1. Go to Settings>Booking preferences
2. In the Reschedule terms section, from the dropdown menu, select the timeframe for rescheduling.
For example, if you select 12 months, customers can reschedule canceled bookings within a year from the cancellation date, as long as the rescheduling feature was enabled.

Reschedule option for single bookings
When you cancel a booking from your calendar, you can enable the feature to let customers reschedule their booking. Additionally, you can decide whether to retain any payments associated with the booking and refund any prepaid packages or gift vouchers that were applied.
1. Click on the booking to cancel it
2. Click on the Delete button
3. If you want to send an email to the customer, tick the Send email: customer [3] checkbox
4. If you want to send an email to other account users, tick the Send email: other users [4] checkbox
4. Tick the Allow customer to reschedule [5] checkbox to let customers reschedule this booking after you have canceled it.

Rescheduling option and cancelation fees
When you enable the rescheduling feature the system will, by default, opt to waive cancellation fees and refund gift vouchers, and prepaid credits [7]. This ensures that any payments associated with the booking are retained, while also permitting customers to use their gift vouchers and prepaid credits for any future bookings, considering their limited validity.

5. In the Message to customer (optional) [8] section, you can type a message that will show in the email notification sent to customers
7. Click on the Yes, cancel [9] button to cancel the booking.
Recurring bookings and Courses
- For recurring bookings, it is possible to allow customers to reschedule a single booking in the series (if you select Cancel only this booking when prompted to choose if you want to cancel one booking or the specific booking and all following dates)
- For courses using the booking mode where one booking is created for each class booked, it is possible to allow customers to reschedule a single booking in the course (if you select Cancel only this booking when prompted to choose if you want to cancel one booking or the specific booking and all following dates)
Reschedule option for all the bookings in a class/tour, or event
When you cancel a class/tour, or event on a specific date and time from your calendar, you can enable the feature to let customers reschedule their bookings.
1. Click on the class/tour
1. Click on the booking to cancel it
2. Click on the Delete button
3. If you want to send an email to the customers, tick the Send email: customer [1] checkbox
4. If you want to send an email to other account users, tick the Send email: other users [2] checkbox
5. Tick on the Allow customer to reschedule [3] checkbox to let customers reschedule their bookings in the future
4. In the Message to customer (optional) [4] section, you can also type a message that will show in the booking cancelation email sent to customers
5. Click on the Yes, cancel this class/tour and all its bookings [5] button to cancel the event and all its bookings.
Send reminders to reschedule bookings
To remind customers to reschedule their booking, simply click on a booking for which the reschedule option was selected, and click on the Resend email [6] link.
When you click on the Resend email [6], the system will automatically send an email featuring a Reschedule [1] button, allowing customers to conveniently reschedule their booking, and an optional custom message [2].
How canceled bookings that can be rescheduled display on your dashboard
In your dashboard, the label Reschedule allowed [7] will show for canceled bookings that customers can reschedule.
