It is fairly common for a business to have casual staff members. Some of them may be available to run a class or tour, but their availability may change from week to week.

Bookeo Classes and Courses
If you have set up regular classes, events, or courses, teachers can log into Bookeo and accept to teach a class.
Personal lessons and appointments
If you have set up personal lessons and appointments, the system will automatically assign one of the available resources to the booking. Therefore, when you receive a booking, a resource(s) is already automatically assigned to the booking.Here are the steps you should follow to let teachers assign themselves to a class:

Step 1 - Set up your teachers as resources
If you haven't already done so, set up your teachers as resources in Settings>Resources, under the same resource type, for example, "Teachers". Click here for more information
In the Classes and Events section of the resource type, tick the classes [1] that will use these resources.
Step 2 - Set assigned teachers as "to be determined" in the class schedule
In the class schedule, leave the assigned teacher as "to be determined"
- Go to Settings>Classes>Courses, events
- Click on a class
- Go to the Schedule tab
- Make sure that in the class schedule, the assigned teacher is "to be determined" [2]
Step 3 - Set up your teachers as account users
If you haven't already done so, set up your teachers as account users in account>users. Click here for more information
In the Permissions - Special operations section, make sure that the Change classes [3] checkbox is ticked.
In the Permissions - classes section of the user's settings page, make sure that account users have 'read and write' permission for the classes they teach.
In the Permissions - resources section of the user's settings page, make sure that account users have 'read and write' [4] permission for themselves. For example, the account user Kath should have 'read and write' permissions on the resource Kath.
How teachers can accept to teach a class
Now, teachers can sign into their Bookeo account to see upcoming classes. Classes with a teacher set to be determined will show it with 3 question marks on the calendar.
The user can simply click on the class, and select themselves as the teacher [5], then Save to be assigned to that class.
Bookeo Tours and Activities
If you have set up regular tours or special tours, staff members can log into Bookeo and accept to run a tour/activity.
Open schedule tours and charters
If you have set up open schedule tours or charters, the system will automatically assign one of the available resources to the booking. Therefore, when you receive a booking, a resource(s) is already automatically assigned to the booking.Here are the steps you should follow to let staff members assign themselves to a tour/activity:

- Click on a tour/activity
- Go to the Schedule tab
